Use online assessments to take advantage of hidden strengths and address critical weaknesses

WebMentor Skills™ allows organizations to use online skills assessments to collect critical skills data to make improve training, staffing, and planning decisions.

Organizations use WebMentor Skills to deliver web-based skills assessments that consist of skill definitions and a customizable rating scale. Use a rating scale with as few as two options or as many as seven. Most customers find that a 5-point rating scale fits their needs and provides an adequate level of insight into assessor proficiency. WebMentor Skills rating scales default to a 5-point proficiency scale ranging from no proficiency to a high level of mastery.


Online Skills Assessment

WebMentor Skills includes a relationship management feature so you can assign up to nine different relationship types including manager, peer, subordinate, customer, and mentor. Reports compare assessment results and provide a great opportunity for manager—employee conversations to reconcile differences in opinion and develop adequate plans to address identified skill gaps.


Assessment - Results Comparison Report

Following assessment completion, users can access their Individual Skills Inventory Report which highlights the skills the user possesses in the highest degrees. This report is also sometimes referred to as the "Strengths Report."

Also following assessment completion, users can access their Individual Skill Gaps Report which highlights the most critical skill weaknesses at the top. This report takes into account the assessed level of proficiency, and the required level of proficiency and an importance factor which are set prior to assessment delivery.
